Rodney (Rod) J. Votava has been named Ag and Business Banker at American Federal in Fergus Falls.
Rod is a Commercial and Ag Lender with more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. His banking positions have included Teller, Personal Banker and Ag and Commercial Lender.
Most recently, Rod was a Senior Relationship Manager and Manager of the Midwest Division for a regional bank in Fergus Falls.
In Fergus Falls, Rod is on the Board for the Business Development Committee, and a member of Rotary. He also is an active member of the National Ski Patrol.
Rod has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, where he earned a comprehensive major in Financial Management and graduated Magna Cum Laude. In college, he was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Economics Honor Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma, the Honor Society in Business.
Rod grew up in Warren, Minnesota and graduated from Warren High School. He is an Eagle Scout.
