Hallock Ag & Business Banker Derek Holt Named Assistant Vice President

Hallock Ag and Business Banker Derek Holt has been promoted to Assistant Vice President.

Holt joined American Federal in 2007. Holt attended the 2010 Sales Star Retreat, American Federal’s premier recognition event for top performing bankers.

He has eight years of financial services experience, including ag, business and consumer and home mortgage financing, working with clients in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Holt grew up and worked on his family’s farm, Holt Farms, a cattle and crop operation near Cresbard, SD.

He is a member of the Hallock Eagles Club and the Kennedy Crew and a member and Secretary of the Two River Golf Course, Hallock.

Holt earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree, with a major in Business, from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN.

Ada Personal Banker & Office Manager Kim Peters Named Officer

Ada Personal Banker and Office Manager Kim Peters has been named an Officer of American Federal Bank.

Peters joined American Federal in February of 2008.

Peters helps her clients find the best solutions to reach their life goals of home ownership, retirement and financial independence, education, financial security and protection, major purchases and banking convenience. Peters is securities licensed.

Before joining American Federal, Peters worked at Loretel Systems and at Norman County Veterans Services and Environmental Services, both in Ada. She is a past Ada City Council Member and Mayor.

Peters serves on the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Norman County Committee and is a member of the Ada Lions Club, the Ada Promotions Committee and the Bridges Medical Foundation Annual Support Committee.

Roger Erbes Named F-M Ag & Business Banker

Roger Erbes has been named Ag and Business Banker. He will office out of the Moorhead banking location.

Erbes has eight years of banking and ag and business lending experience. Erbes began his career as a Teller in Moorhead, was later promoted to Business Banker and since 2006 has been a Senior Agricultural Industry Specialist in Moorhead.

Erbes grew up and worked on his family’s farm near Barney, ND.

Erbes earned an Associate’s Degree in Finance from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Mary, Fargo campus. At MSUM, Erbes was a member of the Delta-Mu-Delta Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

He is a member of the Big Brother/Big Sister Program and serves on the organization’s Advisory Board in Fargo-Moorhead.
