Chris Schenck Named Ag and Business Banker

Chris Schenck has been named Ag and Business Banker and Vice President at American Federal. His office is at the Fargo South Sales Office.

Schenck has 20 years of commercial and ag lending experience in the Fargo-Moorhead Market and northwestern Minnesota.

He began his banking career in 1997 as a Commercial and Agricultural Credit Underwriting Trainee. Upon completion of the program, he was named Relationship Manager at the former Community First National Bank in Windom, Minnesota and later was named Credit Review Officer at the bank’s corporate offices in Fargo.

He joined the Moorhead Branch Office of Bell Bank in 2001 where he was an Ag Loan Officer and a Senior Vice President in Ag/Business Banking.

Schenck grew up and worked on his family’s farm in Baker, Minnesota. He graduated from Barnesville High School, Barnesville, Minnesota.

He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics with a Finance option from North Dakota State University in Fargo.

Schenck is a 2006 graduate of the Dakota School of Banking in Jamestown, North Dakota, and a 2014 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder.

He is Treasurer and Development Committee Member of Creative Care for Reaching Independence (CCRI) in Moorhead.

Schenck lives with his family in Argusville, North Dakota.
