Fargo South Open House Celebrates Expansion, 20th Anniversary

A “Customer Appreciation Open House” took place Wednesday, July 30 at the Fargo South Sales Office to celebrate the expansion and major remodeling project at 1301 30th Avenue South.

Clients toured the bank which has been increased to nine offices for Ag, Business and Personal Bankers.  Food and refreshments were served from the bank’s parking lot.

The Open House also celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the Fargo South banking location, one of 13 full-service American Federal offices located in 12 eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota communities.

In 1994, Fargo South opened as the second of two Fargo locations of the former Northwestern Savings Bank, which American Federal acquired in 1996.

Daniel Erdman Returns to Crookston

Daniel J. Erdman has been named Personal Banker and Associate Managerat American Federal in Crookston.

Erdman has eight years of financial services experience at American Federal and 29 years of retail sales, customer service and management experience.  He joined American Federal in 2006 as a Sales and Service Representative in Crookston, was promoted to Personal Banker at American Federal in Warren in 2007, became Warren Officer Manager in 2011 and was named an Officer of the bank in 2013.

Erdman is a Minnesota state-registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).  He is a member of the Crookston Aquatic Boosters Club and a Board member for the Crookston Crocs Swim Team.

Erdman is a graduate of Crookston High School and holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting, with an emphasis on Banking and Finance, from Aaker’s Business College in Fargo.
